He also shot the film For The Birds which went on to win best short film at Cleveland Film Festival and a Student Emmy award.
Daniel's love of visual storytelling began at an early age in central Oregon watching snowboard and skateboard films. Spending weekends with a camera and friends trying to emulate the movies, he discovered the complexities of using a camera to tell stories. This curiosity lead him to studying photography which introduced the basics of exposure, composition and style. Blending the two worlds, he found his passion in visual storytelling.
Aside from his work as a cinematographer, Daniel spends his time between projects outdoors skiing, camping and wakeboarding.
