New UK horror 'Memorial' launches from 'Ravers' producers Iron Box Films (exclusive)

’Ravers’ will have its world premiere at London’s FrightFest this weekend.

UK production company Iron Box has started work on a new horror feature, Memorial, from producers Raimund Berens and Bernhard Pucher.

The film is a horror mockumentary using found-footage.

The story follows a woman who records her boyfriend as he returns to his hometown for the first time since he helped resist a zombie attack there five years previously. They are looking to confront the past, but find the townspeople have cashed in on the disaster.

The film will being shooting early-to-mid next year in the UK.

FrightFest comedy horror Ravers gets an eye-popping trailer

Coinciding with its world premiere at London FrightFest this weekend, a trailer and batch of images have arrived online for the comedy horror Ravers. Set in an illegal night-time rave, in a factory where contaminated energy drinks caused a worker to go fatally berserk, that turns into a nightmare. As a forgotten batch of the drink is found and consumed by drunken ravers, a truly terrifying physical transformation takes over and those unaffected try to escape in panic. Becky (Hirst), a germophobic journalist, reluctantly there to cover the event, is trapped among the increasingly hostile crowd of dancers, and to save herself and her friends, she must overcome her deepest phobias to help them get out alive.

The trailer for the upcoming film Ravers, which will make its debut at FrightFest, the UK’s premiere horror festival, which kicks off today, has landed online.

The film stars Georgia Hirst, Manpreet Bambra, Danny Kirrane, Maria Volk, Kamal Angelo Bolden, Olivier ‘The Dutch Giant’ Richters and Natasha Henstridge, and will make its debut at FrightFest this Saturday, 25th August.

Set in an illegal night-time rave, in a factory where contaminated energy drinks caused a worker to go fatally berserk, that turns into a nightmare. More cast announced for horror comedy ‘Ravers’

Production outfit Iron Box Films has today announced that Georgia Hirst (Vikings), Danny Kirrane (Games of Thrones), Manpreet Bambra (Free Rein), Maria Volk (Wolf Creek 2) and Kamal Angelo Bolden (Chicago Fire) will round out the cast of Bernhard Pucher’s Ravers. Actress Natasha Henstridge (Species) will also take on a cameo role.

'Vikings' actress Georgia Hirst to lead horror 'Ravers' (exclusive)

Georgia Hirst (Vikings), Danny Kirrane (Games Of Thrones), Manpreet Bambra (Free Rein), Maria Volk (Wolf Creek 2) and Kamal Angelo Bolden (Chicago Fire) will lead the cast of Ravers, Bernhard Pucher’s horror which commenced shooting at Pinewood Studio Wales yesterday.

The project comes from London-based production outfit Iron Box Films, which is led by Pucher as creative director with CEO Raimund Berens, who will produce with Michael Dobbin. Exec producers are Colin Brown, chair of Iron Box’s financing arm Iron Box Capital, and Deepak Sikka from The Works.

The screenplay is written by Pucher and Luke Foster. The story follows an illegal rave in a factory that turns into a nightmare due to contaminated energy drinks.

The project will shoot at Pinewood Wales for six weeks.
