Maya Tremblay(I)

- Stunts
Maya has a bachelor's in mathematics and commerce from UVA with concentrations in finance and management. She's created a name for herself in financial sales; mortgage and real estate. She has worked in marketing, IT and as a life coach. She has completed graduate degree coursework in psychology and counseling. She held NMLS licenses in several states until voluntary surrender to pursue acting and coaching full time. She has an inactive Realtor's license in WA and holds certifications in NLP, Hypnosis and as a Life Coach. She loves to learn and considers herself a lifelong student, never fearing to venture into something new and challenging herself to grow.
Hobbies include salsa/bachata/kizomba/merengue social dancing, singing and writing songs, resin art and horseback riding. A former acrobatics coach at XMA North Hollywood, she has fight choreography and stunt experience, which she enjoys and includes among her hobbies. She loves reading, particularly fantasy fiction with some favorite authors being Robin Hobb, Will Wight & Naomi Novik. Spending time with family is very important to her and her idea of fun; along with playing board games, solving puzzles and hanging with friends eating good food. She enjoys trying new things, especially ones that come with a thrill - including firing all manner of firearms at gun ranges (hooray for Vegas!), skeet shooting and white water rafting.
She has a moderate fear of heights and once stood for 10 minutes trying to leap off the bungee jump platform to overcome that fear; which she did and while proud of the accomplishment will never do that again. Non-obvious disability has impacted her daily life, but she strives to make every day count. She has controlled asthma and eczema, the former keeping her from the airforce and navy when they tried recruiting her from high school. Her father was in the Navy Seabees as a civil engineer and a great man.
She loves to travel internationally and tries to make it out of the country bi-yearly. Some highlights have included attending the 2016 Olympics in Rio, spending a month in Thailand, two weeks traveling in and around Madrid and studying Mandarin language for three months in Shanghai. When traveling, beach and sun, reading and leisure are mixed in with adventures like zip-lining, cave tubing, canyoning, hiking to waterfalls, sampling local foods and making new friends
Her favorite holiday is Christmas; she loves giving thoughtful gifts to loved ones and all the lights and decorations. Her favorite color is green because it reminds her of nature. Her favorite flower is the lily because of its sweet fragrance. The scents she likes to wear or have around the home are ones that remind her of cookies. Her favorite cookie is chocolate chip. Her favorite dish to make is lasagna. Her favorite desert to make is strawberry cake. She loves ice cream and donuts (who doesn't?) but tries to eat healthy more often than not and thanks to her husband, who focuses on whole food, plant-based meals she mostly achieves it. Her favorite workouts are with Peloton instructors, enjoying yoga, stretching, weights and Pilates more than HIIT and cardio; but she does those as well. She values kindness in herself and others.
