Kanchi Wichmann

Kanchi Wichmann is a writer/director based in Los Angeles, originally from London via Berlin. Her short film Travelling Light received a special mention at the BBC British Short Film Festival 1999 in the category of best film. Her debut feature Break My Fall was theatrically released in the UK in 2011 and has sold to over 20 territories via Paris-based sales outfit Reel Suspects. In 2017 Wichmann wrote and directed a ten-episode web series set in the Berlin queer scene called Mixed Messages, which was released by Peccadillo Pictures.
