YELLOW SUNGLASSES tells the story of Julia (30), who after a separation, moves to a cold apartment surrounded by unpacked boxes. There she faces the small daily conflicts of loneliness: spending the day in pajamas, taking mediocre jobs and overeating, while she tries without much courage to apply for a scholarship and fulfill her dream of becoming a writer. Julia finds a new beginning when she has a one-night stand with Darío (28), an attractive waiter with the air of a poet, who takes her to meet Ignacio (38), an employee of a photocopier who is trying to star in a play. Together they will live an intense connection through which Julia will deal with her frustrations of not knowing if she will manage to be who she dreamed of when she was young. Yellow Sunglasses is a tragicomic look at the end of youth and the beginning of adult life, with a monotonous Andean city as its background.
