Of the 26 scripted CBS TV series we tracked last year, the Swat TV show reboot ranked 14th in terms of its demo ratings and 17th when we sort by average total audience size. While those numbers were good enough to stave off the Television Vulture, the crime thriller was by no means a runaway hit. ‘Swat’ Lands Full-Season Order, ‘9JKL’ Gets More Episodes at CBS
Fans of “S.W.A.T.” and “9JKL” are getting varying degrees of good news.

CBS has handed out a full-season order to Shemar Moore cop series “S.W.A.T.,” while Mark Feuerstein-starring family comedy “9JKL” has picked up three additional episodes. “S.W.A.T.” is averaging 10.36 million viewers on Thursdays, while “9JKL” averages 7.4 million viewers on Mondays.

Based on the 2003 film of the same name, “S.W.A.T.” is a co-production between Sony Pictures Television and CBS Television Studios. It stars Moore, Stephanie Sigman, Alex Russell, Jay Harrington, Lina Esco, Kenny Johnson, Peter Onorati and David Lim.
