‘Blood Drive’ Exclusive Video: Take a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Score for ‘A Fistful of Blood’ — Watch
Described as “a blood-driven Spaghetti Western,” episode eight of “Blood Drive” features a soundtrack befitting its genre roots. In a new video shared exclusively with Indiewire, composer Michael Gatt, singer Jessica Rotter, and others offer a behind-the-scenes look at the music for “A Fistful of Blood.” Watch below.

“To really lean into the whole Spaghetti Western sound for this episode, I added instruments including trumpet, operatic vocals, whistling, ocarina, Spanish and baritone guitar to the signature pallet of ‘Blood Drive’ synths and sounds that are the foundation of the score,” says Gatt.

“The challenge in scoring this episode was balancing the line between leaning into the Spaghetti Western genre while still keeping the overall sound and feel of the ‘Blood Drive’ score,” he continues. “This was also a big

Blood Drive: How Syfy's Grindhouse Road Race Navigated Nip Slips and Roared Off the Starting Line
The hot rods competing in Julian Slink’s Blood Drive may be fueled by the red stuff, but Syfy’s freshman drama is powered by all manner of envelope-pushing perversity.

Airing Wednesdays at 10/9c (and not a minute earlier, whew), the grindhouse-style series stars Christina Ochoa (of The CW’s upcoming Valor) and Alan Ritchson (Blue Mountain State) as Grace D’Argento and Arthur Bailey, an experienced (and ribald) racer and the do-right lawman she is reluctantly partnered with on the titular gauntlet. In this richly realized dystopia, human blood is the new gasoline, mortality is a given and the

The Goob Review

Director: Guy Myhill.

Cast: Liam Walpole, Sienna Guillory, Sean Harris, Paul Popplewell, Hannah Spearritt, Marama Corlett, Oliver Kennedy.

Certificate: 18

Running Time: 84 minutes

Synopsis: A young man known as Goob (Walpole) has to work for his stepdad (Harris) after trashing his prized banger racing car.

The Goob seems to come from that very personal plain inside a filmmaker. It’s hard to describe, and attempts to do so almost rob it of its raw power. Set out in the sticks, newcomer Walpole plays Goob, a young lad who does what he can in his nowhere existence. He constantly messes about with his brother, which leads to the pair stealing the keys to their stepdad Womack’s prized vehicle. After they end up in a crash, Goob must work for Womack while his brother recuperates.

The misfit family runs a rather empty diner, while also farming pumpkins. It’s a quiet existence

New Bts Pic From Guardians Of The Galaxy Reveals A Cut Character

I'm sure you'll all recall the scene from Guardians Of The Galaxy in which Drax and Rocket get drunk and gamble (the game is called Orloni-f'saki) on which alien creature will kill/eat the other while Groot looks on aghast. Well it turns out actress Marama Corlett (who can still be glimpsed apparently) originally had a much bigger role. James Gunn has posted the following pic or Corlett alongside Dave Bautista, and he also comments on why her screen time was cut down. One of the tough things about making a film is sometimes you have to cut performances from the film, not because there was anything wrong with the performance, but for time or plotting reasons. Such was the case with @maramacorlett, who played the pit boss running the Orloni-f'saki table in the Boot of Jemiah. She was amazing, learning all of her lines in a foreign language we created.
