Cinematographer and Director from London. Travelled extensively in Asia
from 1987 to 1997. Graduated in film 2001 - specializing in Directing.
Since 2005 Moore has mainly resided in Pakistan working for Concordia
Productions on varied projects including international documentaries
and Government infotainment whilst he learned about the culture and
built up a team for feature production. The situation had become dire
in the industry known as 'Lollywood' during the previous decade,
culminating in the burning of some of the countries oldest cinemas in
Karachi. He was able to recognize that there would be a seismic change
brought about by digital exhibition and production equipment. Around 16
new digital screens opened up in Pakistan during the last year of
production of 'Tamanna', and an exponential increase in financial
interest in the industry occurred in time to ensure the film was picked
up for distribution.
First feature 'Tamanna' in Urdu for local market released by Summit
Entertainment (Pak) in March 2014, with a second larger budget feature
already in pre production, due for release at the end of 2014.
