Ixchel López is a Honolulu-based actor, writer, producer, and director. She is known for playing Nurse Therese in Hawaii Five-0 (2010) and forensic tech Leti Reyes in the final season of Magnum P.I. (2018), where she was directed by the show's star, Jay Hernandez, in his directorial debut. She is also a spokesperson for Niu Health, where she filmed a series of comedic commercials and PSAs, getting a chance to flex her comedy, hosting, and improv background.
When Ixchel is not onscreen, she is performing onstage or working behind the scenes as a creative. Ixchel is a producer, writer, and director for the Hawaii Comedy Festival, an annual two-night event featuring local sketches, improv, stand-up, and original musicals. She was the lyricist for The Boba Tea Party, a short film that won the Audience Choice Award at the Hawaii Filmmakers Collective 48 Hour Film Challenge in 2022.
