Jessica Han(I)
- Sound Department
- Writer
- Second Unit Director or Assistant Director
Jessica Han has recently completed her 4th year film production at
Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC. She has worked as assistant
director, production manager, and camera operator on several SFU grad
films; and has just finished her latest short action comedy Bill,
Please!. When she is less occupied with producing her own films, she
volunteers as camera assistant, boom operator, sound recordist and grip
on set.
Apart from her film studies, Jessica loves theatre and has worked on various shows both behind and on stage ever since she discovered the intriguing world of theatre. Most notable experiences were acting as Petra (the servant) in Nelson Mandel's The Virgin and the Unicorn, directed by Stevie Benisch, as part of SFU 2009 Directing Projects; assistant stage managing Friedrich Durrenmatt's The Visit (SFU Spring 2008 main-stage); and set designing and assistant stage managing Neil Simon's The Odd Couple in summer 2008 (Vancouver Asian Canadian Theatre).
With a projected completion in fall 2011 of her BFA in film production and extended minor in theatre production, Jessica hopes to pursue a career in the film industry while also working in theatre.
