Laura Nadine Hickson was born on Feburary 28, 1977 in Decatur, Georgia. She was raised in Lilburn, Georgia the youngest of four siblings. At age 3, Laura began dance lessons, along with her sister Rain, at the Atlanta Dance Works. Laura immediately took to tap and seemed to have a strong on-stage presence. At age 10, she began to take violin lessons with Stefanie Graef (Rollins) Carr. As a student of the Suzuki Method, Laura progressed quickly. Dreaming is conceptual art of the inner self; there is no path in life. When we can accept there is no path, we can decide on a destination, making the footsteps a perfunctory affair. Values merely free our hands of baggage so we can hold hands.
Film is a series of mental snapshots taken through a lens built of the symbiotic energy of every hand that helped to make it. There must be a balance, with the Director as the fulcrum.
Despite all of the tremendous gains made in understanding our world, we remain constantly bridled by our inability to recognize the native talents and unexplained intuitions that challenge conventional wisdom.
