Stan Lee Easter Egg Revealed in Iron Fist Season 2

As you know, Stan Lee is a staple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and fans are always looking for when and where he will pop up. It's a bit harder to spot him in the Netflix series but if you look hard enough he's there. Finn Jones, the actor who plays Iron Fist in the series, has pointed out the Stan Lee Easter egg in Iron Fist Season 2, which features him as his recurring character, NYPD Captain, Irving Forbush

Judging by what pinned up on the bulletin board, it looks like Danny Rand will be spending some time in NYC's Chinatown. We don't know much about the story for Season 2 or where it will take the character, but Claire Temple, Colleen Wing, and Jeri Hogarth will be back.

I think I can speak for all of us when I say that I hope it's better than Season 1! They also really

Luke Cage Star and Showrunner Say a Heroes For Hire Series is in The Air

Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) will reunite in the upcoming second season of Luke Cage. We've already seen a couple of photos of them and I like the fact that they will be spending a little more time together. They two characters have such a fun relationship in the comics and I've been hoping that they explore that relationship even further in Marvel's Netflix cinematic universe.

It would be so cool to see the two characters get a Heroes For Hire series. When Colter and showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker were asked about the possibility of seeing this series happen in a recent interview, Coker said:

"It's something that's in the air. Internally at Marvel Television, everybody knows there's a part of that combination that is inevitable, particularly when you watch them together in the way that we did it. If feels right. It feels good.

Luke Cage showrunner says a Heroes for Hire spinoff “is really not off the table”

After bringing the two characters together for The Defenders, there’s been some speculation about whether we might see Mike Colter’s Luke Cage and Finn JonesIron Fist teaming up for a Heroes for Hire series as part of Netflix’s Marvel universe.

So far, Marvel and the streaming service avoiding doing so, preferring instead to produce second seasons for both character’s respective solo shows. However, according to Luke Cage showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker, a Heroes for Hire spinoff remains very much a possibility.

“It’s something that’s in the air”, Coker tells Pilot TV. “Internally at Marvel Television, everybody knows there’s a part of that combination that is inevitable, particularly when you watch them together in the way that we did it. Luke Cage Star Isn’t Sold on a Heroes For Hire Crossover

Luke Cage lead Mike Colter doesn’t seem to be too keen on the prospect of a Heroes for Hire spin-off for him and Finn Jones. Making their big splash in the comics in the late ’70s, Luke Cage aka. Power Man and Iron First teamed up in a three-part storyline where they offer their superhero services to people who are in need of assistance regarding personal security and private investigating. Stemming from Luke’s own narrative, the two debuted their own company named Heroes for Hire Inc. based in New York with additional assistance from Colleen Wing and Misty Knight. After a series of successful missions, they eventually went global as they dabbled in international issues like hunting notorious syndicates and high profile criminals, but stayed away from extralegal activities.

Mike Colter talks Luke Cage season 2 and reflects on the first season

Having premiered season two of Jessica Jones last month, Netflix puts the spotlight back on Luke Cage this June as Mike Colter’s Power Man returns for his own second season.

Colter has been chatting to Empire’s new magazine Pilot TV as part of its cover story on the Marvel show, revealing that things are looking up for Luke as we head into the second season and discussing how his character has developed.

“Yeah, everything seems wonderful, he’s got a girlfriend, all thumbs up. What could go wrong, right?” states Colter. “But Luke is his own worst enemy, and that’s something I enjoy playing about him, because he doesn’t necessarily understand the results of his actions. He’s fallible and he makes mistakes. He’s got an edge, he’s got a chip on his shoulder, he’s got to discover his own popularity and enjoy it a bit.

The devil of Hell's Kitchen. The hard-drinking, harder-hitting detective. The unbreakable hero of Harlem. The man with the Iron Fist.

I love the first season of Luke Cage and I'm excited to see what this next season has in store for the character. I do kind of hope that it plays more with the relationship between Luke Cage and Iron Fist, like in the comics. We'll just have to wait and see.
