Carla was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Middlebury College, and later earned her MFA from California Institute of the Arts.
In 2007 she joined Paramount Pictures Home Media Distribution where she thrived for five years. 2012 marked her first production working with Ad Lucem and Virtu Entertainment on Battle Scars (2015). Since then she's gone onto work on The Celebrity Apprentice (SSN 14), and the feature film Urge (2015) starring Pierce Brosnan, Danny Masterson, and Ashley Greene.
Favorite movie - The Age of Innocence. She is the great-niece to the painter Josef Nassy.
