|Birth Name||Matthew Ian Edward King-Ringo|
Mini Bio (1)
Ringo fell in love with film at an early age, when one of his uncles allowed him to watch George A Romero's "Dead Trilogy". From that moment on, Ringo was drawn to the world of TV & Film. In college, he wrote his first screenplay "Junior Mafia" and decided he would move to California after graduating to attempt to break into the Industry as a screenwriter.
At the age of 23, Ringo packed his bags and drove across the country with one of his Theta Chi Fraternity brothers and moved to Laguna Beach. He was blessed to be put in contact with a fellow Theta Chi, Bryan A., who was at the time directing on a show called "10 Years Younger". Ringo was hired on the spot as a Production Assistant, and after completing that gig, he was once again blessed to meet Emmy and multi-award winning Executive Producer, Susan B. Flanagan. Susan, recognizing how serious Ringo was about pursuing his passions as a screenwriter, took Ringo under her wings and gave him his first major break in the Industry by bringing him on board to her production company, BSI Productions, as a writer and producer, and from there he never looked back.
