As the "heavy" Nance in the in all-female mafia film Wise Gals, Marilyn throws on her Bronx hoops to play a loud-mouthed, rough-around-the-edges gangster. In the 1970s heist film Vault, she plays a cowering hostage Rosalind opposite Theo Rossi and Clive Standen.

TV guest star roles include a gruff Massachusetts Court Clerk on two episodes of the Apple TV+ limited series Defending Jacob and an exhausted working-class mom on the Showtime TV series Brotherhood.
