Nasir Kenneth Ferebee
Nasir Kenneth Ferebee is an NAACP Image Award, GLAAD, and three time Telly Award winning producer, filmmaker, and writer. He earned a film degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, where he graduated cum laude. After graduation, Nasir launched his career in New York City and climbed the ranks from intern to producer at various media companies including VH1, The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN), Bravo, MTV, Lifetime, and BET.

In 2014, his passion for cinema led him to Hollywood. Since then, Nasir has amassed dozens of film producing credits, including 90 Days starring Teyonah Parris which won awards at the African Movie Academy Award, Pan African Film Festival, and Diversity in Cannes Festival. He also produced the acclaimed film All Boys Aren't Blue starring Dyllón Burnside and Jenifer Lewis which screened at various festivals including Outfest Film Festival and won the Audience Award at NewFest Film Festival along with the GLAAD Media Award for Special Recognition Project.

Nasir recently won his first NAACP Image Award for Best Short Film for the Oscar qualifying film Black Boy Joy. The film was produced while Nasir was a 2019 Producing Fellow in the prestigious Film Independent Project Involve program and is currently streaming on HBO Max. The film also garnered awards at the Blackstar Film Festival, American Black Film Festival and the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival. Nasir was also chosen to be a 2019 Film Independent Global Media Makers Mentor. He is also an alumni of the 2020 Always Write Mentoring Program where he wrote his comedy pilot G'Uncles.

Currently, Nasir is producing and directing content for various companies including Complex Media, Buzzfeed, and Vanity Fair. He is also in development on numerous projects including Give the Drummer Some. The period feature film about an all female go-go band during the height of the crack epidemic in Southeast D.C. The film was also the winner of the Producer's Guild of America Create fellowship, and was featured in Produced By Magazine. His competition cooking show pilot entitled Mama's Kitchen and the scripted TV pilot G'Uncles are also in development. Nasir is a proud member of the Producer's Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
