Tom is an award-winning screenwriter and director who embraces the collaborative nature of storytelling, from the first taps of the keyboard to the master cut of a project. In addition to winning prizes for his writing, Tom's short films have appeared in festivals from Phoenix to Toronto. When not working in narrative film or television, Tom produces corporate, government and commercial videos and spots. His credits include the Showtime series "Homeland," the DC Comics movie "Wonder Woman 1984," and the AMC series "Turn: Washington's Spies." His writing/directing efforts include "Keystroke," "Trolls & Antechambers" and the "Window Shopping" shorts. His feature scripts "Amulet" and "Children of the Rain" are optioned and in development, and his short script "Silent But Deadly," about a ninja dealing with modern-day issues, was recently optioned. He lives in the Continental U.S. with his family and more than likely needs to mow his lawn or rake his leaves right now - or both.

Tom competed in the 2007 National Poetry Slam in Austin, TX.
Tom was born left-handed, but his mother continued to move writing implements and cutlery into his right hand. As a result, he throws, bats, golfs and bowls left-handed, and writes, eats and plays tennis right-handed.
Tom is a member of the 1987 county champion Hightstown High School swim team, which is a 2017 inductee into that school's hall of fame. Tom swam breaststroke and the individual medley.
