Sonya Tayeh grew up in Detroit Michigan. She began dancing at the age
of 14. She went to college with Liz Schmidt, the artistic director of
Spotlight Dance Works. Sonya is known for her robotic style
contemporary. She now is a choreographer on Sytycd and guest
choreographs at different dance studios including Spotlight Dance Works
in Chesterfield Michigan. Many of Sonya's pieces have one awards she is
one of the best choreographers in the US.
