Vandana Kataria

Vandana is an Indian filmmaker who is also considered one of the industry's best production designers. She is widely recognised for her work on Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Shanghai, and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! Vandana was selected to be part of the prestigious Berlinale Talent Campus in 2016, and she was the 2nd Unit Director on the blockbuster Gully Boy, which is based on the life of the rapper Divine. Vandana made her directorial debut with the English-language feature Noblemen, produced by Yoodlee Films. Noblemen, a dark adaptation of The Merchant of Venice set in a boys' boarding school, released in June 2019 to critical acclaim and is now streaming on Netflix. Vandana has also directed several commercials and music videos including Jungli Sher by Divine - India's first music video shot completely on an iPhone. Vandana is currently working on her second feature film with Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP.
