A musician, record producer and engineer for over 25 years, Martin worked extensively in the UK before returning to the Caribbean island of Trinidad in the late 90's. He is known for his production work with World Music artists David Rudder, Brother Resistance, Mungal Patasar, Andre Tanker, Machel Montano and many others. As a mastering engineer, he has been responsible for shaping the final sound of many recent Road March, Soca Monarch and Calypso Monarch hits in the region. He composed the soundtrack for the Mariel Brown documentary "The Insatiable Season" and was the re-recording mixer on several movies including Horace Ove's "The Ghost of Hing King Estate" and Miguel Galofré's "Art Connect". He is Assistant Professor, Audio Recording and Music Production at the University of Trinidad & Tobago where he is Programme Leader for the Music Technology Programme. Martin holds an MA in Carnival Studies from UTT. His Master's thesis was on the development of sound systems in Trinidad during the 1980's. He is a certified trainer in Apple Logic Pro and an Avid Pro Tools(TM) Certified Operator
