Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Elizabeth Braun had an active childhood full of sports, school plays, singing and dancing, cheerleading, water skiing, and family road trips. She attended the University of Southern California where she played Masha in Checkhov's "The Seagull" her freshman year and never looked back. At USC she earned a BA in Theatre Acting and minor in Communications in the Entertainment Industry. After graduating, Elizabeth appeared with Gary Sinise on the eighth season of CSI: NY (2004), followed by The Vampire Diaries (2009) with Ian Somerhalder, and alongside Maria Bello on Prime Suspect (2011).
Elizabeth was cast as Heather in Lifetime's Christmas comedy movie Holiday High School Reunion (2012), playing opposite Harry Hamlin and Marilu Henner, and starred in TV movie romcom The Baby Proposal (2019). Elizabeth won Best Actress in the Culver City Film Festival for her work in the award winning thriller Seven Miles.
With a background in musical theatre, Elizabeth has a booming soprano belt and sings country western, rock, and jazz. She recorded lead vocals for the Rainbow Brite (2014) theme song "Shine", an animated miniseries reboot with Emily Osment and Molly Ringwald.
In addition to USC, Elizabeth trained at BADA in London, studied with Howard Fine, practices improv and sketch comedy at The Second City and UCB in Hollywood. Elizabeth is also a writer. She is writing a psychological thriller feature and has a sci-fi romance feature in development.
