Lisa Genaille is an Indigenous producer and screenwriter based in British Columbia, dedicated to bringing underrepresented stories to the screen. She has worked across multiple departments in film and television, gaining hands-on experience that has shaped her approach as a producer. Her work has been showcased at prestigious festivals, including the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF) and ImagineNative, and she has secured development funding for multiple feature films through APTN, Telefilm Canada, and Creative BC.
Lisa is currently producing a proof-of-concept for The Cyberknight as part of a virtual production/LED partnership, while also developing her feature screenplay, River Home, which has been selected for competition at the 2025 Beverly Hills Film Festival. Her supernatural series, The Deal, recently advanced to the quarterfinals of the GEMS International Screenplay Competition, further positioning it for development. A lifelong admirer of classic literature, Lisa is also working on an Indigenous adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, blending timeless themes with rich cultural narratives.
