After making his acting debut with the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2001, Dominic has worked extensively in classical theatre, including productions of Romeo and Juliet, As You Like It, Twelfth Night, Cymbeline, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Merchant of Venice. In contrast he created the role of Fleet in the premiere of Glyn Maxwell's Mimi and the Stalker at London's edgy Theatre 503 and played Roland Cassard in the West End theatrical adaptation of the musical film The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (Gielgud Theatre), directed by Emma Rice. Also in the West End he played The Actor in the acclaimed Woman in Black (Fortune Theatre). After appearing in the BBC drama Missing, he joined the BBC's Doctors as the schizophrenic semi-regular character "Smithy." Dominic appeared in the NFTS film Our Name is Michael Morgan in the title role. In 2013 Dominic made his motion picture debut as Harry Witherspoon, the lead role, in the film Lucky Stiff. Recently Dominic has appeared in lead roles for the internationally renowned Kneehigh Theatre Company, creating the role of Macheath in Dead Dog & Other Love Songs (for which he was nominated for a Best Actor MTA award) and Tristan in Tristan & Yseult, playing both in New York (St Ann's Warehouse) and The Globe Theatre (London) as well as on tour. He recently joined the theatre company Told By An Idiot to devise and perform a new show called I Am Thomas which toured and played Wilton's Music Hall in London.
