- Jeff Foxworth is a composer, songwriter, music producer and multi-instrumentalist. Growing up in Greensboro, North Carolina, Jeff discovered a passion for music at an early age. Piano lessons in the 3rd grade were followed by a stint at the saxophone a couple of years later, until he finally settled into his primary instrument of guitar in 1992.
The early stages of Jeff's career in music began to take shape in the fall of 1994, when he helped co-found the North Carolina-based act Weekend Excursion. He would continue to tour and record with the band for the next ten years, during which time W.E. independently sold over 30,000 records and had several songs licensed for various cable and major network television shows.
The band's split in 2004 brought Jeff out west to Los Angeles, where he eventually shifted his focus towards scoring and production. This led him to join forces with Rye Randa to form the dynamic composing and producing duo known as The Ontic, which went on to score several TV series for networks including NBC, GSN, The History Channel, Discovery Channel and USA Network, as well as the critically-acclaimed documentary 'Jiro Dreams of Sushi'.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Sam Fisher
