Born in Madrid , Banni Leclerc is an Independent Award Winning Short film Director, TVC Executive Producer and Actor. He graduated on Journalism at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and worked as TV Producer during a decade . Living BTW Spain, New York City and Paris he developed his career as an experimental filmmaker by observing and participating in few departments on several independent features and directing various experimental shorts . By 2018 he started working with professional crew with the 4 minutes short Roque (Prelude) structured with one actor and one location . The film obtained international recognition.
In 2023 sequel "ROQUE" was internationally presented at Oldembuurg Film Festival and has achieved more than 40 Inernational Selections and more than 25 Awards including Medina Del Campo , Melies D'Argent Nomination 2024 , Buenos Aires Film Festival , Toronto International film Festival , Cerdanya film Festival , Certamen cortometrajes Ciudad de Soria among others .
