Uta Arning is an award-winning writer, director, and producer with a passion for genre storytelling across live-action, documentary, and VR. An NYU Tisch MFA graduate, her multicultural background informs her unique global perspective. Her debut feature, filmed in Japan, competed at the Max Ophüls Film Festival, screened at Cannes, and won at the Moscow International Film Festival. Uta's recent work includes a VR horror backed by the Hamburg MOIN Film Fund, a Swedish Film Institute-supported comedy feature, and two TV series featuring Isabelle Grill (Midsommar).
