A native of Phoenix Arizona, Cori was raised in a creative family and was
in the process of developing her first novel, when she was approached by
VerticalBlu Film Company in 2005. She was asked to write a screenplay for their first film "Convenience". She soon joined the company as a producer on the project, and realized the enjoyment of bringing a story to the big screen.
After releasing "Convenience", she began scripting and producing her second feature film, "Life In Transit" which was seen in multiple theaters across the Phoenix area and later sold on DVD.
During this time, she also scripted and produced multiple successful short films. In 2009, she won "Audience Choice Award" for "The Treehouse" at The Phoenix Film Festival and in 2010, she won "Best Story Award" for "Masterpiece" at The Phoenix Film Festival.
Cori graduated with a Global Business degree from Arizona State University and works full time in Marketing. She spends her free time remodeling her home, playing with her puppy and crafting her next story.
