Wonder Woman hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins (“Monster,” AMC’s “The Killing”).

Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.

Warcraft is going to easily be one of the most visually stunning films of the year. I also think it will end up being one of the best video game films made so far.
Today we have a new featurette called “The Beginning” with new footage from the film along with interviews with the cast and crew. This featurette is actually the best piece of marketing for the film I've seen so far. There's also a second featurette that focuses on Paula Patton's transformation into the character Garona.
I also included a series of portraits that focus on the CGI characters of the film and the actors who portray them. They highlight the transformation that took place to turn these humans into Orcs for this film.
The effects of the film were done by Ilm, and they did such an incredible job bringing these characters to life. The detail...

Wonder Woman's solo outing on the big screen is officially underway, as today Warner Bros. announced the start of production, revealing new cast members, and even a swanky new image of Gal Gadot ready for action. Come inside to check it all out!
Cast has been on the set of Wonder Woman for the past week or so, but today, Warner Bros. has made it official with a press release announcing the start of principal photography. In doing so, they've revealed some new actors joining the cast (though sadly, no word on who they're playing). Along with that, Gal Gadot took to her Twitter to reveal a cool looking new image from the set:

Warner Bros. has announced the commencement of production on director Patty Jenkins’ solo Wonder Woman movie with a press release detailing the new cast additions, as well as an image that gives us our first official look at Gal Gadot (in this movie, anyway) as Princess Diana herself.
The additional cast members include Robin Wright, Danny Huston and David Thewlis – though the characters they’ll be playing are being kept under wraps for now. Nicole Kidman was said to be in talks to play another Amazonian warrior believed to be Diana’s mother, Hippolyta, but there’s no mention of her here. Perhaps that’s being saved for a separate announcement, or talks simply fell through and Robin Wright is now playing that role?
Regardless, you can check out the full press release, along with the first official Wonder Woman still, below:

For the second consecutive year, director Duncan Jones brought a sizzle reel for his upcoming Warcraft to San Diego Comic-Con, and for the second consecutive year, said footage remained locked behind closed doors. However, in keeping with this year’s trend of leaked trailers, a bootleg version of the clip from this year’s show has appeared online, showcasing the director’s mystical, expansive take on Azeroth.
As one would expect, it’s shot from an obscure angle, and while it isn’t a fair indication of the final product – visually or aurally – the video above does at least illustrate some of the special effects that we can expect from Legendary’s blockbuster.

Director Duncan Jones had a Warcraft movie presentation at Blizzcon yesterday, and during the panel he revealed the characters that all of the lead actors are playing. Up until now the identities of the characters that the actors would be playing have been kept under wraps. We were also sent some details on each of those characters that will be introduced in the film.
Below you will find a list of characters that have been divided between ‘Alliance’ and ‘Horde,’ which are the two opposing armies in the franchise. I also included photos of the actors from the presentation, thanks to /Film.
These images feature our first look at the characters Orgrim (above), and King Llane (very bottom). Here are the characters, but not all of them include photos.
