Picking up immediately after BenDeLaCreme’s departure, there was a whole lot of confusion in the workroom. Naturally, the queens speculated about Ben’s decision (“The process was getting too much for her,” quoth BeBe Zahara Benet), leading Morgan McMichaels to wonder if she was only brought back because Ben felt guilty about eliminating her in the first place.
Either way, BeBe used the chaos to her advantage. Under the guise of restoring “peace” to the game,

Chris Colfer didn’t seem likely to take over the world when we first met him on Glee, even if he was one of the show’s standouts, but as that show was winding down, he began his career as an author. The Land of Stories took off in a way that few Ya books manage, despite the ever-increasing real estate the section muscles into at your local bookstore.
Now, five short years after the release of the first book, and after having become a New York Times Best-Selling author, Twentieth Century Fox and Shawn Levy‘s 21 Laps are bringing the series to the big screen. But, that’s only the beginning (though I’m not sure how to accurately predict the Ya fan base’s interest in any details, or their ability to stop screaming long
Colfer began writing The Land of Stories in the final years of Glee with The Wishing Spell published in 2012. Since then, he has written another book in the series each year. The series has been very successful and now includes an illustrated picture book and an upcoming graphic novel. It follows twins Alex and Connor Bailey as they travel the worlds of the stories they loved as children. The final book in the series, Worlds Collide, will hit stores in July.
The synopsis for The Wishing Spell reads:
Alex and Conner’s biggest fear has come true.
Colfer will also adapt “The Wishing Spell,” the first book of his six-book “The Land of Stories” series. Fox has acquired the feature rights to the series and set it up with Shawn Levy to produce through his 21 Laps production company with Dan Levine.
“The Land of Stories” includes illustrated picture books, audiobooks, in-world chapter books and an upcoming graphic novel. The final novel in the series “Worlds Collide” is scheduled to be published July 11.
“Wishing Spell” centers on a twin boy and girl who, after losing their father, are transported into a book in which they come face to face with characters from classic fairy tales. For two weeks after the book’s release in 2012, it was number one on The New York Times Best Seller
Fox has picked up the rights to the book series with 21 Laps’s Levy and Dan Levine on board to produce.
In a striking move, the 27-year-old Colfer will not only write the script adapting The Wishing Spell, the first book of the multi-million copy-selling series, but will also make his directorial debut by sitting behind the camera.
Launched with Wishing Spell in 2012, when Colfer was in the middle of his six...

Thanks to Nick Jnr and Channel 5’s Milkshake, we’re generally okay in our house should children’s television (Aka award-winning parenting) be required. Netflix takes it to another level. There are the well-known shows (Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol etc.), the slightly lesser-known programmes (Pocoyo being my personal favourite) and then there are Netflix’s own productions.
The frighteningly frigid temperature of the show’s New York studio (almost balmy compared to how Letterman famously kept his Late Show digs) was but one of the discoveries made during TVLine’s (long-ago, pre-election) visit to the taping of what would be tonight’s episode, airing at 9/8c on ABC.
