Kaveh Taherian is a director, illustrator and graphic artist. Not one to shy away from difficult subject matter, he produced the award-winning documentaries "20 Years of Madness" about what happens when mental illness meets a midlife crisis, and the award-winning "The A-Word," about how women from different backgrounds process their abortions. His comedy short "The Spirit of Norouz" took aim at the tradition of blackface during Persian New Year and was screened at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Kaveh holds a BFA in Illustration and Design from LCAD and an MFA in Film Production from USC.
