Roni Brown-Byrd

Roni Brown-Byrd is originally from Columbus, Ohio While dreaming of working in the entertainment industry she wrote her first screenplay on her mother's typewriter in high school and developed her love for writing stories, drawing and producing throughout college. She earned her BFA in Media Studies focusing on animation at the Columbus College of Art and Design and decided writing and producing for film and television was her goal.

To further her production career, she moved to Los Angeles where she began working freelance in production for networks such as ABC, Adult Swim, TLC, NBC, HULU, Netflix and more. Over the span of 15 years she has worked on such projects as America's Got talent for NBC, Miami Ink for TLC, SpaceBalls! The Animated Series for G4Network, Hit Monkey for Marvel/Hulu, and has served on the writing staff and/or written for Black Dynamite the animated series on Adult Swim, LaGolda for Discovery Kids, Daniel Spellbound for Netflix, Pupstruction for Disney Jr, and Math Party for Netflix/Jim Henson Studios.

With her versatile production and writing experience Roni is looking forward to continue writing and producing for live action and animated projects.
