Grey's Anatomy may have wrapped up its sixteenth season early, but spin-off series Station 19 is still chugging along.
The two shows, however, share a universe, meaning that Grey's Anatomy characters work with people from Station 19, and vice-versa.
ABC has dropped a new trailer for Station 19 Season 3 Episode 15, and it shows an armed woman causing trouble after an incident.
In a twist of fate, Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) is in the ambulance trying to operate on a patient, and Ben (Jason George) is also present.
As the clip plays out, gunshots ring out at the conclusion, while Bailey is seen in Grey Sloan Memorial realizing that something is amiss.
Perhaps it's because the ambulance doesn't show up when it should.
If you watch Grey's Anatomy online, you know Bailey has suffered a lot of heartache of late, so killing off her husband would be cruel.
Heck, even killing Jackson would be cruel.

If I wanted to watch The Hitcher, I’d watch The Hitcher. If I wanted to watch 127 Hours, I’d watch 127 Hours. If I wanted to watch Buried, I’d watch Buried. I certainly wouldn’t sit through Curve again.
Another mediocre movie from the Blumhouse production line, Curve is also the latest film from director Iain Softley, whose directorial career consists of one good movie, Backbeat; one cult movie, Hackers; and a whole heap of decidely average ones. Apparently he got the gig directing this film thanks to his 2005 effort The Skeleton Key which, like this film, is another example of the generic, housewife-friendly horror that tend to get on my very last nerve…

Edward Scissorhands #6: Whole Again
Written by Kate Leth

Edward Scissorhands #6: Whole Again enters a new arc off with a long incomplete quest of Edward to be finished as a being and adventures with his friend Megs. A bonus treat for the fans of the film is that Megs happens to be the granddaughter of Kim Boggs. The comic picks up Edward’s unanswered desired to have normal hand instead of scissors. Yet the journey to be normal or, as the story’s arc suggests, whole again makes the reader question what exactly should Edward be looking for in his life. Writer Leth presents a fine understanding of Edward from the film and developing his character further. Colorist Simons and Artist Rausch promote a stylized creation which adds to the fairytale like mood and dark settings of the story.

Edward Scissorhands #1
Written by Kate Leth
Art by Drew Rausch
Published by Idw
24 years after the original film, Kate Leth and Drew Rausch continue the story of everyone’s favorite black wearing, hair dressing, tears inducing unlikely fairy tale hero. Edward Scissorhands #1 is set many years after the film, and Megs, the daughter of Kim (played by Winona Ryder) is now a teenager. Edward Scissorhands is considered to either be a murderer or a myth, and Kim’s own daughter considers her to be insane. Leth and Rausch explore his character through his interactions with Eli, one of the Inventor’s long forgotten inventions. They also introduce readers to Megs, an impetuous teen, who is fascinated with her grandmother and Edward. Edward Scissorhands #1 has a slow burning plot, but Rausch fills each panel with beauty and sadness. As a colorist, he uses mainly blacks and whites for the scenes with...

Julianne Hough, who first shot to stardom as a dancer on Dancing With the Stars, could become one of the celebrity dancing show’s full-time judges.
Julianne Hough Heading Back To 'DWTS'
Hough is reportedly in talks to become a fourth judge on Dancing With the Stars, joining the panel that currently includes Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli, according to TMZ. Apparently, Hough and producers are in the process of negotiating a deal for her to fill in the spot that was filled by a series of guest judges last season.
Hough created a bit of controversy while serving as one of the guest judges during season 18’s “switch-up” week when she accused Maksim Chmerkovkiy, who was normally partnered with Meryl Davis, of “phoning in” his dance with Danica McKellar. Her brother, Derek Hough, who dances on the show, took to his sister’s defense.

Idw Publishing has announced an Edward Scissorhands sequel comic.
Written by Kate Leth (Fraggle Rock) and illustrated by Drew Rausch (My Blacks Don't Match!), the comic will continue the story following the events of Tim Burton's Johnny Depp-starring 1990 film.
The five-issue miniseries will apparently feature the little girl who Winona Ryder's character told her story to in the movie.
"In a castle just outside a sleepy suburban town, a brilliant inventor created Edward Scissorhands... but left him tragically unfinished," reads Idw's solicitation.
"Two generations of exile have left Edward digging through abandoned experiments, but once he wakes up a creature left buried, he discovers he isn't the only one missing a vital piece.
"As Edward tries to fix a grave mistake, he comes face to face with a teenage girl who was sure he was only myth... despite the stories her grandmother told her, about the man she could never touch.

Oh Southland, I have missed you! I've missed the drama and grit of the best cop show on TV. I've missed Detective Lydia's fire and determination and Ben Sherman's jaded idealism. I've missed Shawn Hatosy's gratuitous butt shots.
But most of all I've missed Officer John Cooper. For the show's first three seasons we watched Cooper struggle to overcome chronic pain and drug addiction. Season four saw him recovering from both and working to rebuild his confidence and street presence. But much of his time in that season was spent reacting to the drama surrounding his temporary partner, Jessica Tang. And while he had one powerful episode in which he encountered a suicidal gay teenager, for the most part Cooper's homosexuality was overlooked.
In a heartening interview with AfterElton, Michael Cudlitz reported that Cooper and his sexuality would be much more present this season in both his professional and personal lives.

Michael Cudlitz is back for another season of stellar cop drama on Southland.
Southland’s Officer John Cooper was revealed to be gay way back in the show's first season, but since then viewers have only gotten snippets of the character's personal life.
With season 5, which kicks off tomorrow night, Michael Cudlitz tells us that we’re going to get much more personal with Cooper than ever before. In fact, in the season premiere (airing Wednesday at 10pm on TNT), the first scene with Cooper finds him waking up in bed with another man (Drew Rausch). And we'll learn that this is more than just an anonymous one night stand.
We talked with Cudlitz last week to get specifics on just how much of Cooper’s life we’re going to see as the new new season unfolds.
AfterElton: From the first episode back, we see that John Cooper’s been getting some.

For anyone who doesn’t believe in ghosts and witches but wants a found footage horror film that can appeal to their curiosity or sense of fear, then Director Corey Grant’s Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes is probably more your speed. Taking the same route as Steven Spielberg’s Jaws in the belief that showing less is more, The Lost Coast Tapes tells the story of four ambitious TV producers hoping to make a hit series out of an old man in northern California who claims to have a corpse of a young Bigfoot. For the most part, The Lost Coast Tapes succeeds in its use of mysterious howls, strange happenings, and brief glimpses of gigantic hairy beasts to create a thrilling mystery as to whether or not the whole thing is real or if the old man is just scamming them out of their money. Unfortunately, it loses...

This weekend "Paranormal Activity 4" opens, the latest in the phenomenally successful found-footage series about ghosts who primarily concern themselves with opening closet doors very slowly. But there's another found footage opus opening on Friday, one with more monstrous concerns. "Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes," is, for most of its running time at least, a nifty little horror movie about a group of seriously unlikable filmmakers who go into northern California's Lost Coast, a hotbed for Bigfoot sightings, to investigate claims that a man has an intact Sasquatch body. The problem is that, when it should really bring it, "Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes" drops the ball, resulting in a finale more enraging than terrifying. "Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes" starts out like most found-footage movies, with characters quickly established, along with the loose skeletal framework of the plot. Sean (Drew Rausch, with a velvety radio host...

Corey Grant Talks Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes, in select theaters Friday, October 19th
It's been a while since Bigfoot graced us with his presence at the local Cineplex, but that's all about to change as two different "found footage" thrillers starring the elusive creature make their way to the big screen. Lionsgate's Bigfoot County is a little ways away, which means that director Corey Grant has the upper hand. His Bigfoot: The Lost Coast Tapes is opening in select theaters this Friday, October 19th, and as history proves, the first movie to the market is almost always the winner.

A Bigfoot found footage film is pretty much as natural as that genre gets, and it looks like we may have a good one, in The Lost Coast Tapes. The film comes out this year, and we have two trailers, along with a couple posters and promo’s from the movie, all of which look sweet (all from Dread Central).
Corey Grant (Dysfunctional Friends) directs the film that stars Drew Rausch, Rich McDonald, Ashley Wood, Noah Weisberg, and Frank Ashmore. It was written by Brian Kelsey and Bryan O’Cain and produced by New Breed Entertainment’s Corey Grant, Chevez Frazier, and Chris Beal.

Most news coverage of San Diego Comic-Con is saturated with celebrity sightings and Hollywood movies. Magazines report on ridiculous cosplay, digital spectacle, and the publicity tidal wave of Hall H. But on the floor, the experience is different. There are stories on every corner that have nothing to do with film promotion; there are passions that bypass traditional t-shirt bargains and get straight to the meat of what comics are about; there are people who wait all year before finally getting the chance to have a serious discussion about Swamp Thing. This blog is about them. Posted in reverse chronological order (most recent post is at the top of the page).

First announced at Afm back in November comes from New Breed Entertainment and director Corey Grant, The Lost Coast Tapes, starring Drew Rausch, Ashley Wood, Rich McDonald, Frank Ashmore and Noah Weisberg. "A cynical investigative journalist and his documentary team travel to a remote cabin to debunk a Cryptozoologist's claim of finding a dead Bigfoot, but their film quickly becomes a record of their life and battle against an unseen horror." The first piece of art was pretty impressive, reminding me of the one sheet for Frozen and Open Water. A second has just debuted. Keep up with the film on Facebook.

When Paranormal Activity 3 scares up nearly $54 million at the box office in a weekend, you know that the found footage phenomenon is not dying soon. A new Pov horror-thriller called The Lost Coast Tapes is currently being sold to distributors at American Film Market next week. The story follows "an investigative journalist and his group that travel to Northern California to find the legendary Sasquatch, but the footage of that trip is now all that remains." The film was directed by Corey Grant, with production already wrapped on the film. Check out the full poster below:
Here are some more details according to IMDb:
After a "Bigfoot Hunter" claims to possess the body of a dead Sasquatch, a disgraced investigative journalist stakes his comeback -- and the lives of his documentary film crew -- on proving the find to be a hoax. Obviously shit goes down once they actually find the creature.

Cinéma vérité style filmmaking and Bigfoot should go together like peanut butter and jelly! Ash and the evil dead! Jason and naked teens! It's really a wonder that anyone has yet to make an effective film focusing on the legend of the Sasquatch using this technique, but if the first poster for The Lost Coast Tapes is any indication of what's to come, one may well be on its way.

The hilarious Eldritch! is a digital comic by Aaron Alexovich and Drew Rausch that fabulously marries classic black and white horror with a more modern, geektastic flavor. The introductory synopsis:
Anya Sobczek is a snarling science major with an arm full of Darwin tattoos. Her brother Owen is a sensitive young thing in a coven of teenage occultists. The Sobczek sibs have always been brutally competitive, but now that Owen’s blood has started Bubbling with ancient tentacled abominations, their rivalry’s about to enter a vast new dimension of cosmic terror…
Alexovich’s writing is excellent. The cultish gobbledygook that Owen’s high school friend spouts from his poolhouse podium is the kind of intelligent nonsense that only incites laughing because actual thought went into it. Everyone knew these pimply RPG-playing dudes in high school. Some of us actually Were them. Or at least dabbled in their collectable card game wars.
