Emily Kaiho

Emily Kaiho was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to a Caucasian-American mother
and Japanese father. She grew up in Japan and speaks both English and
Japanese fluently. Emily studied jazz and modern dance, as well as
theatre and acting, because she always had a strong desire to become an
entertainer. As a teenager, she worked regularly as a beauty and
fashion model in Japan, and performed on stage as a dancer as well. In
early 2008, Emily decided to advance her career by moving to Los
Angeles. Her first week there, she started working at a Japanese
restaurant. Soon she was spotted by a casting director and invited to
audition for the part of Momoko in the stylized martial arts film
Bunraku. A few days after that, Emily found herself in Romania filming
with all the big name actors. Her Hollywood debut had happened like a
streak of lightening. During filming she started training her martial
arts skills, such as Karate, Taekwondo, Weapons, Wushu and boxing. She
has been so fascinated by martial arts, that she continues training
back in LA.
