Lisa is an award-winning screenwriter /producer. Her first film was the dramedy feature 'Defying Gravity' (2008) which appeared in 11 film festivals and won 4 awards including Best Story/Writing, Director's Choice, and Best Narrative Feature. It is now available on Amazon Prime.
Since then she has written/produced several short films. She also wrote and associate produced the feature film 'Dreams I Never Had' (2016) which features actors Malcolm McDowell and Robin Givens. This film won 'Best Feature' at four international film festivals and is distributed by Shoreline Entertainment.
In 2019 she wrote and executive produced feature film 'Space Captain and Callista', a film about how society views people with mental disabilities. This project, featuring iconic actor Gil Gerard, was the featured cover story on the Oct 2019 issue of Inktip Magazine and was an official selection in four film festivals in 2020.
She is currently (2021) in development on the suspense feature film 'The Wine Cellar' about a dysfunctional mother-daughter relationship in which each suspects the other of murder.
