George Elias Stephanopoulos

George Elias Stephanopoulos was born on September 9, 1964, in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. He is an independent producer and entertainment/media attorney based in New York. George currently serves as Vice President & Associate General Counsel for Vox Media Studios and previously served as Special Counsel, Senior Advisor to Group Nine Media from 2018 to 2022. Prior to Group Nine George held various legal and business affairs positions at Nickelodeon (now Paramount Global), Classic Media, Inc. (now part of DreamWorks Animation), Discovery Communications (now Warner Bros. Discovery), and Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video Entertainment. George's film credits include Swing Away (2016), Bereave (2015), Second City's BUZZKILL (2012), and Golf in the Kingdom (2010). He is also a credited producer of the Harry Potter-inspired Off-Broadway hit comedy PUFFS (2016-2019).
