Chris Duke is the creator, executive producer and host of Motorz, a nationally syndicated automotive improvement television series. Chris is a true automotive enthusiast with more than 30 years of experience in hands-on vehicle customization.
In 2008, Chris created Motorz out of his passion for improving the look and performance of automobiles. Unlike other automotive shows that skip important steps during commercial breaks, use expensive tools, or perform feats that would be impossible for the average viewer, Motorz shows viewers how to confidently and properly maintain a vehicle and install aftermarket accessories with simple step-by-step instructions in a home garage environment.
In each episode, Chris gets his hands dirty and digs into the nuts and bolts of each stage of the process including showing viewers exactly what tools to use, and how and why to use them. He also provides advice regarding any challenges along the way, and always provides information on important safety precautions. Whether it is installing bolt-on performance modifications, wiring up electronics, rebuilding an engine, or detailing a vehicle, Motorz offers a realistic look at what lies beneath the installation instructions that empowers viewers. Motorz reaches over 100 million television households in the U.S. and Canada via cable and broadcast television channels, and millions more via Internet distribution, video-on-demand and mobile access.
Host, eHow Auto Center
In August, 2012, Chris Duke was selected to host and co-write the eHow "Auto Center" Internet video series, sponsored by Mobil 1. The eHow Auto Center, another helpful area of eHow.com produced by Demand Media, offers tips and how-to instructions for auto repair and maintenance to improve longevity, performance, safety and fuel economy for new and used gas-powered, electric or hybrid vehicles. Nearly two dozen episodes were produced.
