Daniel Herner began his career in the field of IT Development - he successfully launched and built one of the largest Hungarian online cultural portal group in the early 2000s. He later founded a film post-production and production studio called Filmworks, headquartered in Budapest, since then he mainly works as a film producer. Through Filmworks he was involved in films such as Intimate Headshot, Sunbathing with the Moon (The Kispál Film), Kills On Wheels, Love You Like An Animal, and Ernelláék Farkaséknál, which won the the grand prize of the 2016 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, the Crystal Globe.
