A Wonder Woman 1984 Set Photo Has Started the Rumor Mill Turning

Wonder Woman was a ray of hope in a flailing Dceu. It has turned into a superhero movie that I enjoy watching every time it is on. I am truly excited to see what Patty Jenkins is going to do with the Amazonian Princess this time around. We were blessed last year at Sdcc ‘18 with an action packed fight scene from Wonder Woman 1984. It definitely got me hooked and excited for more.

With a little under a year left until its June 2020 release, I imagine we will be seeing more press and behind the scenes looks into the upcoming movie. We are going to start it off with this behind the scenes photo that was released by reddit user u/professional_skeeter.

Other: New look for the Amazons in WW84 from r/DC_Cinematic

This is a cool shot, but it is the caption that is causing a stir on the internet.

Chris Pine to Play Nixon Lawyer John Dean in Amazon Studios Feature Pitch (Exclusive)
Amazon Studios has nabbed a feature pitch with “Wonder Woman” star Chris Pine attached to play John Dean, a pivotal figure in the Watergate scandal.

The film will follow the life and political saga of Dean, who served as White House counsel for President Richard Nixon from July 1970 through April 1973. Amazon bought the development project from producers Bob Cooper — a veteran Hollywood player — under his banner Landscape Entertainment and prolific screenwriter Billy Ray of Home Run Productions.

Dean himself will serve as executive producer on the project with his manager Rick Berg. Up-and-coming screenwriter Evan Parter, whose scripts have appeared more than once on the annual Black List, is penning the project.

Billed by the press as a “connoisseur of cover-ups,” Dean became a crucial Nixon whistle-blower by offering testimony that implicated the president in the historic cover-up. In exchange, he served four months of house arrest and plead guilty to obstruction of justice.

New Wonder Woman 1984 Set Photo Shows an Amazon Warrior Ready for Battle

New Wonder Woman 1984 Set Photo Shows an Amazon Warrior Ready for Battle
A new photo from Wonder Woman 1984 has surfaced online. We're currently in a pretty dry news cycle when it comes to upcoming projects from DC Films. So, any and all information that comes up is certainly worth discussing. In this case, we have an image of actress Rosanna Walls decked out in her Amazon warrior gear, presumably ready to do battle.

The photo surfaced over on Reddit and was screen-grabbed from an Instagram story. We see Rosanna Walls, who is playing an unnamed Amazon warrior in the sequel, standing with her hands on her hips, flashing a little grin. They're shooting in The Canary Islands, per the caption, and we can presume this will be serving as Diana Prince's island home of Themyscira. Other than being a photo with a beautiful background, it unfortunately doesn't tell us all that much.

In any event, this is the first bit

Russell Brand in talks for Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile

According to Collider, Russell Brand (Get Him to the Greek) is in talks with Disney/Fox about joining the cast of the Agatha Christie adaptation Death on the Nile, director and star Kenneth Branagh’s follow-up to 2017’s Murder on the Orient Express.

Russell Brand in Talks to Join Kenneth Branagh's Death On The Nile

Actor and comedian Russell Brand (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) is currently in negotiations to join Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming remake of Death on the Nile. Branagh directed the 2017 remake of the Agatha Christie novel Murder on the Orient Express, and he’s keeping the train a-rollin’ with this next chapter.

Branagh will star as the famous Hercule Poirot, with a crazy ensemble cast that includes Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Armie Hammer (The Social Network), Annette Bening (American Beauty), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), and Tom Bateman (Murder on the Orient Express).

This next film will see inspector Hercule Poirot on vacation on the Nile, where an heiress is murdered on board the cruise and Poirot must solve the mystery before the trip comes to an end. The first movie was really fun, and I’m excited to see another one. I’d love to see Russell Brand added to this cast. He

Adam Brody Reflects On Almost Playing The Flash In Justice League Mortal

Whenever something is said about Justice League Mortal, I can’t help but give my undivided attention. Heck, I remember when I vehemently kept up with all news pertaining to the film’s production more than a decade ago – only to feel heartbroken when it was cancelled.

In recent years, more trivia regarding the ill-fated movie that would’ve been directed by George Miller has come to light, be it concept art showing off Batman and Superman, or even whispers of a brutal battle involving Superman and Wonder Woman.

Now, it’s Adam Brody who’s reflecting on his big time role that never truly came to fruition: the Flash. That’s right, he was set to suit up as the Scarlet Speedster before the studio pulled the plug. While speaking with Yahoo, the actor couldn’t help expressing regret, saying:

“In hindsight, I should’ve been more bummed [at the time]. I really liked it.

Henry Cavill Reportedly Being Eyed To Play U.S. Agent In The McU

It’s been two years since we last saw Henry Cavill don Superman’s cape for the Dceu, and while we currently wait to see what exactly Warner Bros. has in store for the future of the Man of Steel franchise, it’s starting to sound more and more likely that the actor is hoping to head to the McU faster than a speeding bullet.

According to a new rumor from Cosmic Book News – so, as always, take this with a grain of salt – Kevin Feige and co. are interested in bringing the classic comic book character U.S. Agent to the big screen, and they want Cavill for the role. Originally created as a surrogate Captain America, it sounds like it’s the right time to adapt the villain-turned-hero considering Steve Rogers’ retirement post-Avengers: Endgame. While U.S. Agent was first introduced as a “patriotic” extremist, he sounds

‘The Angry Birds Movie 2’ Film Review: Silly Sequel Will Engage Kids, If Not Their Parents
Before “The Angry Birds Movie 2” first screened in London, Sony proudly showed off the trailer for the new “Jumanji” movie (“The Next Level”) which the studio is obviously hoping will be its big Christmas hit. That film’s very existence, re-animated by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart et al, proves you can never write off an old franchise or an even older video game — and there’s every chance that the further adventures of the flightless cartoon birds and their green pig adversaries can feather the nest for Sony this summer.

Not that “Angry Birds 2” is a very good film. Let’s not go crazy here. Compared to Disney/Pixar, the work here is rudimentary in terms of artistry, character and script. There are hardly any gags in the dialogue, not even terrible bird-based puns. And as for any wholesome or heart-warming family message, forget it. But that in itself may prove somewhat refreshing,

Viola Davis’ Daughter Genesis Tennon Celebrates Acting Debut at ’The Angry Birds Movie 2’ Premiere
Genesis Tennon is used to attending Hollywood events with mom Oscar-winner Viola Davis, but at “The Angry Birds Movie 2” premiere, it was her turn to be the star. As Davis and husband Julius Tennon looked on beaming with pride, Genesis walked the red carpet for her first screen credit and chatted animatedly with reporters.

“Well, I would randomly be like, ‘Oh, I have to go to this event with my mom,’ and then I would pause and be like ‘Hold up, wait a second, it’s about me!’ And I got excited,” Tennon joked to Variety on Saturday morning at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood. The 7-year-old makes her acting debut in the animated film, voicing hatchling Vivi alongside Gal Gadot’s daughter Alma Versano and Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughters Sunday Rose and Faith.

According to Genesis, her parents weren’t nervous about her big moment,

Here Are All The Fox Films That Disney Saved After The Merger

Though Disney’s recent acquisition of 21st Century Fox has seemingly led to the axing of quite a few projects, there are still plenty of upcoming films that look to have survived the transition, many of which are scheduled to hit theaters in the next couple of years.

For one thing, you have Underwater, the story of a crew of underwater researchers who must fight for their lives after an earthquake devastates their subterranean lab. With a cast that includes Kristen Stewart, T.J. Miller, Jessica Henwick and Vincent Cassel, the film is slated to come out on January 10th, 2020.

After that, Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn returns to the helm for The King’s Man, the confusingly titled prequel to the popular spy series. Set for release on February 14th, 2020, the film boasts a star-studded line-up, including Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Daniel Bruhl, Matthew Goode, Stanley Tucci, Djimon Hounsou and Charles Dance.

What We Learned From The Wonder Woman: Bloodlines Trailer

So far looking at the new Wonder Woman animated movie one can say that it looks awesome for a few reasons. I’ll be straightforward and say that I’m a Marvel fan and not much of a DC person, but giving credit where it’s due is easy when something impressive is presented, and this looks like it might qualify. In essence this movie gives us a look at the same kind of story line, kind of, that we saw in the first Wonder Woman movie with Gal Gadot when Steve Trevor crashes within the protective barrier of Themyscira. The same thing

Wonder Woman: Bloodlines Trailer Turns Amazon Warrior Diana Prince Into a True Hero

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. This is the latest in what DC has dubbed simply the DC Universe Movies, but it comes from a much longer line of animated DC Comics adaptations that, on the whole, have been embraced in a big way by fans. Where some of the live-action movies have left something to be desired in the eyes of many, these animated offerings tend to please and this looks to be no exception, as we've got a big, slick spectacle on the way.

The trailer kicks off with the familiar origin story for Diana Prince, who decides to become a hero to the human race after saving a man named Steve Trevor. Beyond that, the footage we see here is loaded down with action. We see Wonder Woman duking it out with the likes of Giganta, amongst many other foes. Things eventually

Written by Sarah Treem (The Affair), the series will chronicle Lamarr’s life and career, beginning in Czechoslovakia in the 1930s leading through to her success in Hollywood in films such as Algiers, Boom Town and Samson and Delilah.
