The Predator Funko Pop Toys Reveal Movie Spoilers?
Funko's line of vinyl, blockheaded Pops! are to today's fans of cinema and geek-culture what Beanie Babies were to collectors in the 1990s. Today, Funko revealed a new wave of Pops! based on Shane Black's upcoming reboot of 1987's Predator, The Predator. As expected, their silly as hell and cool as shit, and you're welcome to give the new merch a look-see in the image below-just be warned: Simply looking at this picture could spoil some of the film's plot points and surprises.

While we've been hearing rumors of genetically engineered "Predator Dogs" in The Predator for months now, these creatures were one of the few aspects of the film not previously revealed in the film's trailers.

The Hunt Evolves With Latest Promo For The Predator

Marvel at the Ultimate Predator with this fresh new footage from Shane Black’s sci-fi reboot.

Coming in hot ahead of The Predator‘s long-anticipated theatrical release in September, this delightful promo begins with one or two shots of Quinn McKenna (Logan‘s Boyd Holbrook) and his ragtag crew, before things veer into uncharted territory.

Yes, in a bid to reinstate The Predator as one of cinema’s greatest movie monsters, Shane Black and Fred Dekker have spliced the core DNA of John McTiernan’s ugly motherfucker with every apex predator in the galaxy to create a 10-foot killing machine. Its sleek, midnight black skin and chitinous armor are good enough to send a shiver down our spine, and based on the R-rating, we can readily expect those Yautja creatures to forcibly remove one or two spines come September.

Edward James Olmos has been cut from The Predator

It’s fair to say that Shane Black’s sequel/reboot The Predator has had a difficult journey to the screen, but after several delays and rounds of reshoots, the movie is finally set to arrive in cinemas next month.

However, it will do so without Edward James Olmos, with the former Battlestar Galactica star revealing to Slash Film that his role has ended up on the cutting room floor and his character removed entirely from the film.

“I’m not in the [film] though – It was too long so my character, they had to take me out,” said Olmos. “They were like half an hour, 3/4 of an hour too long. So I understand why. It was gracious of them to call me and tell me, ‘Hey, we really feel bad,’ you know?”

Shane Black Explains Why The Predator’s Had So Many Reshoots

With the impending arrival of The Predator inching ever closer, director Shane Black sat down with Empire Magazine to clear the air regarding the next evolutionary stage for the eponymous beast and addressed those pesky reshoots the film underwent in Vancouver earlier this year.

Initially slated for a March 2nd, 2018 release, before the due date was pulled forward to February 9th, which was then pushed back to August 3rd, and then subsequently moved once again to September 14th – where it can currently be found – according to Black, The Predator was delayed to accommodate a significant rewrite.

“The first time we shot the third act it was daytime. It’s all this spooky stuff, but then it’s bright sunlight. It just didn’t work. So I said ‘Ummm, can we do this again at night?'”

Although in order to make the Predator “frightening” again – after all, this will be

The Predator TV Spot Reveals New Earth-Conquering Footage

The Predator TV Spot Reveals New Earth-Conquering Footage
After heartlessly postponing the release date for Shane Black's The Predator multiple time (not to mention failing to follow through on a promise to release footage back in April) the promotional team at 20th Century Fox is going balls to the wall with a final promotional push for the film, slated to (finally) invade Us Theaters on September 14th. In many ways, our cups runneth over, as a couple of knock-out trailers have already revealed the existence of a genetically enhanced "Upgraded Predator", something many believe would have been more impactful had proof of the creature's existence been withheld until the film's release. Indeed, trailers today are often accused of spoiling many of a movie's money shots. Still, the latest TV spot for The Predator has arrived to titillate us further with a chilling message: These intergalactic game hunters have world domination on their minds.

Thrilling New Trailer For The Predator Explodes Online

After finally reaching the next evolutionary stage, 20th Century Fox wasted no time crescendoing the marketing campaign for The Predator and today, we’ve got a brand spanking new teaser highlighting the ugliest motherfucker in the universe for you.

Granted, spending the better part of a decade waiting for the Jim and John Thomas-created extraterrestrial killing machine to get another shot at a proper sequel was exasperating, but with Shane Black behind the camera, and a mega form of the eponymous beast set to debut, we’re certainly reaping the benefit of being patient now.

That said, the waiting is far from over, unfortunately. Earlier this month, Fox ordered The Predator to undergo further reshoots, and what with the film having already undergone extensive reshoots in Vancouver earlier this year, and watched a pair of release dates fall by the wayside, the news had those of us aching to sink

A Predator Finds Itself in the Crosshairs in New Chinese Poster For The Predator

We've got a cool new Chinese poster for Shane Black's The Predator for you to check out today. As you can see, it features the alien Predator in the crosshairs of a genetically enhanced ultimate Predator that is looking to kick its ass. We got a little taste of that in the trailers that have been released.

I really hope that this movie turns out awesome! We recently learned that there were going to be some more reshoots to fix a few things. Hopefully whatever Black is doing with this movie ends up working out because it's going to be a shame if the movie ends up being crap. I'm hoping for the best, though!

Meanwhile, speaking to Collider, Black has been discussing the film’s much-publicised reshoots and his decision to revamp the big confrontation during the third act, having it take place at night rather than during the day as was originally shot:

“Part of it was that we were making the film and we were trying to jam a lot into a five-pound bag. So we had a big appetite, and one of the things about that was, well, if you want to do all of that stuff with this much money, you probably need to shoot during the day because during the night would be prohibitive.

The Predator undergoing more reshoots, but still on track for September release

Having undergone extensive reshoots back in March – which reportedly reworked much of the film’s third act – it seems that 20th Century Fox and Shane Black’s The Predator is now set to return to Vancouver for some further additional photography.

Production Weekly has revealed that, unlike March’s reshoots, the additional filming will last for just two days, which suggests this could be some simple pickup shots as opposed to any major changes.

The Predator was originally slated for release in February, before being pushed back to August, and then again to its current September date. At present, there’s no indication of another move and it appears that the film remains on track to arrive on September 14th.

Watch The Predator Cast Do Their Best Schwarzenegger Impressions

Watch The Predator Cast Do Their Best Schwarzenegger Impressions
Arnold Schwarzenegger won't be featured in The Predator, but one of his classic lines will be. The cast from the upcoming sequel appeared on Conan from San Diego Comic-Con following their panel for the movie yesterday. While reminiscing about Schwarzenegger's classic line, "Get to the chopper," a couple of cast members decided to showcase their best impressions of the actor and former governor of California. In the process, they revealed that the classic line is actually going to be in the new movie. Here's what Keegan Michael Key had to say

"That line is in there. The line is in the movie and we're mercilessly doing impressions all the time."

Keegan Michael Key revealed that they couldn't help but impersonate Arnold Schwarzenegger during filming. Key did a quick impression, which was mostly grunts. He then called out Sterling K. Brown for having the best impersonation in the cast. After some convincing,
