Conrad Cecil

Conrad Cecil is a classically trained actor known for his dynamic performances in comedies, thrillers and historical dramas. He can be seen in feature films alongside Sophie Marceau, Liam Cunningham and Clémence Poésy.
Conrad Cecil was discovered when auditioning for a small role in the French WWII thriller Female Agents (2008): during the audition, he was cast as the English spy around whom the story turns. This launched his career.
Born and raised in England, Conrad Cecil lived in North Yorkshire, London, and Norfolk. He also lived for several years in Paris, France, where he performed in French, including at the Théâtre du Rond-Point on the Champs-Élysées, and at the Avignon Theatre Festival, principally the works of playwright Roland Dubillard in association with Werner Schroeter.
A passionate Shakespearean, Conrad Cecil has played leading roles in the Bard's cannon, including Richard II, Cassius in Julius Caesar 2014 (2014), and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing. He also worked on a unique hand-printed edition of Shakespeare's Sonnets. He has performed in several Greek plays for television, including The Trojan Women (2021) and Sophocles' Oedipus Rex, which are aired on Theatre Classics Channel.
Conrad Cecil studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art & Kings College London and trained as an actor at East 15 Acting School in London.
He lives in Los Angeles and works regularly in film, TV, and on stage.
