Formerly an international award-winning post production professional with credits on over 90 major productions, Katie Hinsen later turned her attention to running facilities with a focus on talent, unique business structures and innovative use of emerging technologies. Over a more than 25-year career she has worked as an engineer, editor, VFX artist, Stereoscopic 3D artist, colorist, finishing artist, producer and executive. She now leads Production Technology for Marvel Studios, based in Burbank CA.
Outside of the office she is a passionate advocate for emerging talent. She speaks at major industry events, provides mentorship, and serves on the boards of a number of organizations, including Blue Collar Post Collective, of which she is a founder.
