Samantha Youssef is an art director, animation director and body mechanics/choreography specialist. She is the Artistic Director and founder of Studio Technique, an artistic consulting, production, and training studio focused on developing talent in the feature film and video game animation. Samantha is responsible for the artistic training and development of artists in the Feature Film, VFX, and video game industries across North America and Europe. She is the creator of The Youssef Drawing Syllabus, an IP training program to accelerate artistic skill sets in professional artists.
Samantha Youssef was raised in Canada and is of Palestinian Ukrainian descent. She was spotlighted in Chatelaine (magazine) as Miss Chatelaine in 2011, and interviewed on Musique Plus. She has been invited as an animation jury member for the Viewster Film Festival, ASIFA, and the Canadian Interactive Academy for the Canadian Game Development Talent Awards. Her animated short film La Fuga Grande (The Great Escape) was an award winner at the Toronto International Film Festival, and has been showcased at other film festivals in Canada and internationally. She was also featured as Wired Magazine's Sexiest Geeks of 2009 and 2010, and MSN techno's top sexiest geeks.
