Intruder is Coming ... For You!

One film that's been circling our radar for a while now is Gregory Caiafa's indie effort Intruder. To rank up there with the slasher elite, you really have to be a cut above the rest, and this one seems to be stacking up quite nicely.

Intruder was written and directed by Gregory Caiafa and stars Christena Doggrell, Alexandra Grossi, Jack Reiling, Michelle Van Schyndel, Arda Itez, Rob Ryan, Therese Plaehn, Gary Ferrar, Brian Ish, and Anthony Marks. Slashers and serial killers and more terrorize DVD and Blu-ray

The superior stalker picture Midnight Movie is coming to Blu-ray next Tuesday, October 13 from the new Phase 4 distribution company, and we got ahold of an exclusive clip and the trailer to whet your appetite. You can see them both below, along with the disc contents.

Midnight Movie, about a group of filmgoers terrorized by the creator/star of the horror film they’re viewing (who emerges from the screen to slaughter them) is presented on the Blu-ray in 16x9 widescreen with DTS-hd 5.1 audio, plus the following extras:

Director Greg Caiafa sent over a link to the latest unnerving clip from his upcoming slasher flick, Intruder. Caiafa wrote, directed, produced, and edited the flick from October '07 to this past July with his company Red Circle Pictures in Copake, NY

A synopsis of the film from IMDb tell us: "Andrew (Jack Reiling) and Lila (Christena Doggrell) are on vacation. Andrew always loved his family estate, and Lila - fresh from a yearlong stay in an asylum - is not quite ready for the bustle of New York City. The weekend begins promisingly with a scenic drive from the city and a romantic evening alone. After an unexpected detour the couple's once brilliant future seems back on track. That is until they wake one morning to find the mangled work of a deranged mind literally nailed to their front door.

The movie shot last October in Copake, NY by his Red Circle Movies production company, with pick-ups being completed this past July. Andrew and Lila are on vacation. First pics, info on new slasher pic Intruder

Indie director Gregory Caiafa got in touch to let us know about Intruder, the premiere production from his Red Circle Movies outfit, and pass on a few exclusive images. Described by Caiafa as “a dark character study and homage to ’80s slasher films,” the movie shot last October in Copake, NY, with pick-ups completed this past July.
