Grew up in Newburyport Massachusetts where she became active in theater at the age of ten. In 2003 she was one of three actresses from the U.S. chosen to participate in a residency under master artist Eric Bogosian at the Atlantic Center for the Arts. In 2006 she moved to New York City.
She is also a playwright, most recently her work has been seen at the Ensemble Studio Theater, where she is a member of their young emerging playwrights group.
Also performs with The Striking Viking Story Pirates, a group of professional actors and comedians who turn stories written by children into short plays and sketch comedy. They teach writing workshops and perform for schools all over NYC.
