Arizona's Filmmaker of the Year, Brian Skiba is a Director and Writer of feature films for Screen and Television. Recently Brian made history with the feature film Running Away (2017) that premiered in Spain as the highest rated afternoon TV Movie in Antena Trés history.

Brian graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Creative Writing from Arizona State University. Fulfilling his passion for storytelling and film, Brian directed his first feature film right after graduation, Blood Moon Rising. A horror/comedy distributed by Entertainment One that found great success in the Zombie niche', so much so, that Brian was asked to direct a low budget indie film for the producer of Narc. That film was Dirty Little Trick and it premiered domestically on Showtime.

In 2012, Brian wrote a script called, Defending Santa that was acquired by ION Television. That same year he directed Anatomy of Deception that premiered on Lifetime, October 2014. Then, ION Channel asked Brian to write and direct an Epic World War II feature film entitled, Christmas Truce.

In 2017, Brian moved to the big screen directing the fast-paced female empowerment action fight movie, Chokehold due to release Fall 2018. He then directed a grindhouse niche film based on the graphic novel Rottentail, published by Source Point Press and due to release Easter 2019.

He's currently signed to direct two action films in 2018 for Wonderfilm Media starting with the fast-paced political thriller Redacted and then the superhero martial arts epic, The Last Kumite. He's currently writing a gritty action thriller for Actionhouse Pictures called, Karma that he is signed to direct in the spring 2019.

Most recently Brian directed a Christmas movie for Universal Studios entitled, My Adventures with Santa with production that just wrapped October 2018 and a theatrical release date of Christmas 2019.

Brian's favorite quote from the highly regarded Director, Alfred Hitchcock is, "To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script."
