Kurban produced BAFTA winning TV series "Jungle" for Amazon Studios, and Cyrmu BAFTA winning "Late Shift". He produced or co-produced two films for Sally Potter's "The Party" and "The Roads Not Taken". Kurban has previously worked on Sundance Award winning feature docs "Who is Dayani Cristal?" and "20,000 Days on Earth". His first project as co-writer "The Hungry" is available on Amazon Prime following if premiere at TIFF.
Kurban is now an executive producer at Pulse Films across both Film and Television. Formerly he was managing director of Mews Films, a joint venture between Archery Pictures and Elysian Film Group running a slate of features. He previously worked with Turbine Studios as a development executive on projects including "Small Axe" by Steve McQueen.
He graduated from the National Film and Television School, where he won the Christie Award for outstanding contribution, and has produced or co-produced multiple award winning short films including BAFTA nominated "Orbit Ever After". He is a member of the ACE Producers board, an alumni of Inside Pictures and Film London's Breaking the Glass Ceiling program.
