Warren Pereira is a Los Angeles based Writer, Director and Producer. His debut feature film "Tiger 24" sold to Netflix in 2023 after a US theatrical and India theatrical release by AA Films. "Tiger 24" also won the Panda Award at the 2022 Wildscreen Festival and was a finalist at the 2022 Jackson Wild Media Awards which are regarded as the 'Green Oscars' of the international wildlife film industry.
"Tiger 24" was the Honorable Mention Best Feature Documentary at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, was nominated for Best Documentary at the Greg Gund Competition at the Cleveland International Film Festival and won Best Documentary Feature at the Burbank International Film Festival in 2022.
Elevation Pictures distributed "Tiger 24" in North America which included the Netflix sale and a VOD release through Universal Studios. A 'Tiger 24' BluRay was also put out by Universal Studios which includes Bonus Features. 'Tiger 24' has a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes and was featured on the KPCC Filmweek LA radio show with strong recommendations from film critics Wade Major and Tim Cogshell. Amazon Prime Video India picked up 'Tiger 24' for the India Digital Release after the theatrical release by AA Films which earned Bollywood support from John Abraham, Dia Mirza and Raveena Tandon.
Pereira produced the Dramatic Feature '1-800-Hot-Nite' which was a nominee for the Grand Special Prize at Deauville Film Festival in 2022. He also produced the documentary 'Downwind' in 2023 which premiered at Slamdance and won the Best Documentary Jury prize at the Melbourne Documentary Film Festival in 2023. 'Downwind' features interviews with Michael Douglas and Lewis Black with narration by Martin Sheen.
Pereira heads W Films, a boutique production company that produces commercial and narrative productions. Through W Films, Pereira won the Cannes Gold Lion for his film work for ad agency DDB.
Pereira also heads The Tiger Fund, LLC which produces film projects focused on the conservation of the tiger in the wild. In 2023 Pereira received the Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar National Conservation Award for his film work dedicated to tiger conservation. In 2024 Pereira received "Services To Wildlife" Fateh Singh Rathore Conservation Award for his film work dedicated to wildlife.
