Payam Azadi is a Video Game, Animation and Film composer. He was born in 1980 in Tehran. At the age of 10, he began attending to Orff Academy (Orff Schulwerk, children music method) for 2 years and started to learn and play Piano and Violin. In 1998 he enrolled on a BA in Textile Engineer at Tehran Polytechnic University during which time he continued to practice learning instruments and pursuing his love for music. After two years he decided that music was where his passions truly lay and switched to studying Music Composing at Tehran Conservatory as well as taking extracurricular courses at the Tehran University of Art. He was named the best music composer at Tehran Video Game Festival in 2011 (for the Garshasp Game) and 2012 (for the Shaban Game). In 2014 for composing an Animation called " All the Winters I Haven't Seen " he won the best music award from 16th Iranian Cinema Celebration. He moved to Germany in 2014 where he works as a professional Music Composer.Other activities: Member of the music jury at 3rd Tehran Video Game festival in 2013. Member of the music jury at 6rd Tehran Video Game festival in 2017.
