Once Upon a Time Series Finale: Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas & More Return!

It sounds like Once Upon a Time is going out with a happily ever after for most characters.

According to TV Line, Jennifer Morrison, Josh Dallas, Ginnifer Goodwin and Emilie de Ravin will return to the fairytale drama for its two-part series finale.

They join Sean Maguire, Victoria Smurfit, JoAnna Garcia-Swisher, Robbie Kay, Lee Arenberg, Keegan Tracy, Tony Amendola, Jared Gilmore and Beverley Elliot who were previously confirmed to be making comebacks.

The series famously rebooted for Once Upon a Time Season 7, and the action shifted from Storybrooke to Hyperion Heights, and that meant some of the original actors departed.

But the big revamp failed to reverse the show's downward trajectory. On Friday nights, the series has slumped over 40 percent to 2.4 million viewers and a 0.5 rating among adults 18-49.

ABC swung the ax on the series earlier this year after seven seasons.

Once Upon a Time” ends its run in May with a series finale, “Leaving Storybrooke,” that will see the return of one-time stars Jennifer Morrison, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas. They all left the show last year at the end of season 6, after Morrison’s character, Emma Swann, got her happy ending. She married her long-time love Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) as her parents Snow White (Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Dallas) looked on lovingly.

Morrison has been seen only once in this season 7 reboot, which jumped ahead several decades and focused on her now grown-up son Henry (Andrew J. West) and his daughter Lucy (Alison Fernandez). Tapped for a return appearance in the third last installment, episode 20, is Jared Gilmore as young Henry who will figure prominently in flashbacks.

And Sean Maguire will reprise his role as Robin Hood, suitor to Regina (Lana Parilla) in the finale. Dare we

Once Upon a Time Season 7 Episode 11 Review: Secret Garden

Farewell, Rapunzel.

On Once Upon a Time Season 7 Episode 11 the polarizing character lost her when she sacrificed herself to save Drizella, and it made for an exciting hour of this soon-to-conclude ABC drama.

It was only a matter of time before Rapunzel redeemed herself, and it was obvious she was gearing up to swap places with her daughter the moment Drizella was caught inside Gothel's spell.

The icy demeanor from Rapunzel towards Drizella was at times cumbersome, but having the mother-daughter duo at odds has made for some of the best moments of this rebooted season of the series.

If you watch Once Upon a Time online, you will already know the true extent of their hatred for one another, but it's a big thing to have one of them die for the other.

I'm not so sure Drizella would have done the same thing had the roles been reversed.

Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11 Review: Grief

Grief is a difficult thing, but there is no rule book on how to juggle grieving while running a nation.

On Designated Survivor Season 2 Episode 11, Tom was attempting (and mostly failing) at it. It left some of his close friends in dangerous, life-threatening positions and most of his staff and colleagues frustrated.

I have to give it to the show, this storyline may have been a bit of a curveball for the writers, but they're wholly invested in it. It may be the most promising arc in the sophomore season.

It has been a full ten weeks since Alex's death.

Imagine my surprise when it was revealed that it truly was an accident. Alex was t-boned by an irresponsible and reckless driver who was driving while texting. How mundane.

For a show that's meant to be a political thriller, I was thoroughly anticipating her death to be part of a new conspiracy.
