Marvel Plans On Bringing Red Skull Back To The McU Soon

The Red Skull first appeared in the pages of the Captain America comic books all the way back in 1941, and has shown some incredible staying power to remain one of Marvel’s most enduring and iconic villains ever since. As such, the character was an obvious choice to play the antagonist when Cap finally came to the big screen in The First Avenger, with Hugo Weaving still managing to chew the scenery even under heavy prosthetics.

To the surprise of many fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the Red Skull reappeared in both Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame as well, acting as the gatekeeper of the Soul Stone on Vormir, although this time played by The Walking Dead’s Ross Marquand after Weaving declined the opportunity to reprise the role. Now, a source close to We Got This Covered – the same one who told us Taskmaster would be the villain

Can They Unite? The Walking Dead Season 10 Teases the Whisperers War
They survived the Governor. They survived Negan. They survived Terminus. They survived a whole mess of zombies. Will whispers be the end of Daryl, Carol, Michonne and the rest of your The Walking Dead favorites? In a spooky new trailer for the upcoming season 10 featuring Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Ross Marquand, Christian Serratos and the rest of the cast, the survivors discuss how they've, well, survived. "We survived the end of the world," Daryl says. "We're bonded together by the fellowship of the living," Michonne says. "The future is ours, so long as we hold onto our faith in one another," Carol says. But the...

Marvel Announces Moon Knight TV Show For Disney Plus

Like Captain America’s super strength or Iron Man’s smarts, Marvel Studios has the incredible ability to take even the most obscure comic book characters and make them pop culture icons. Let’s not forget that folks like Drax the Destroyer, the Winter Soldier and Thanos were relatively unknown outside of comic shops before they appeared in the McU.

Now, it seems like Kevin Feige and co. are hoping to give the same treatment to Moon Knight, one of the darker heroes from the comics. If you’ll recall, Wgtc was the first outlet to bring you news of a project for the character when we reported on it a few weeks ago and now, it’s been confirmed. Moon Knight is coming to the McU and he’ll be getting his own Disney Plus TV show.

Avengers: Endgame Directors Reveal How Cap’s Reunion With Red Skull Would Play Out

While many fans had hoped Red Skull would once again appear in the McU, I don’t think a single one expected that the villainous character would play such a massive role in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Having previously been zapped into oblivion in Captain America: The First Avenger (in addition to Hugo Weaving’s penchant for bashing Marvel Studios), most assumed the Hydra founder’s time had come and gone.

Cut to the summer of 2018, where a cloaked figure on the planet Vormir revealed that he was actually Red Skull, forever cursed to watch over the Soul Stone as punishment for his attempted misuse of the Tesseract. Now a solemn shell of his former evil self (and recast with Ross Marquand), Captain America’s arch-nemesis only managed to interact with Thanos, Gamora, Black Widow and Hawkeye over both movies, leaving many fans upset that a reunion

New Images from ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 10 Put on a Post-Apocalyptic Fashion Show

This year's hottest fashion trend is Post-Apocalyptic Chic, as showcased by AMC's new fall collection of images for Season 10 of The Walking Dead. The gathered survivors of the undead apocalypse are looking much more put together and a lot less grimy than they have in recent years, so civilization must be on the verge of returning in earnest, right? Anyways, showing off their latest duds when they return this season are Daryl, (Norman Reedus), Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), Carol (Melissa McBride), Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Ezekiel (Khary Payton), and Michonne (Danai Gurira), who …

Moon Knight Movie Reportedly In Development, Jewish Actor Being Eyed To Star

One Marvel comics hero that fans have been wanting to see in the McU for the longest time is Moon Knight. He’s never been one of the company’s biggest icons, but Marvel Studios have proven themselves adept at taking even the most previously obscure characters and turning them into worldwide sensations. A lot of people think that Marc Spector deserves the same treatment, but so far, Marvel haven’t brought him to the big screen.

This could be about to change soon, though, as the studio is reportedly developing a Moon Knight movie at last. We Got This Covered has heard from a source – the same one who told us that Taskmaster will be the villain in Black Widow, that the Endgame re-release post-credits scene would feature the Hulk, and that the real Mandarin will appear in Shang-Chi, all of which were later confirmed – that a live-action project

The Walking Dead Star Wishes Rick And Carl Were Still Part Of The Show

For years, we thought that Rick Grimes and his son Carl were two of the only characters who were safe from certain death on The Walking Dead. However, this belief was shattered when Carl was killed off halfway through season 8. And then Rick himself was written out of the show early in season 9. As both Grimes boys were integral to the ongoing story in the comics, we just assumed they would stick around on screen. And one star of the show definitely wishes they had.

Ross Marquand has played Aaron on the series since season 5 and is known to be a longtime fan of the franchise since before that. He recently joined Twd co-star Dan Fogler on his 4D Xperience podcast where the pair talked about the shocking issue #192 of the comic book which featured the death of Rick. Marquand took the opportunity to lament that the TV show didn

Marvel Said To Be Eyeing Walking Dead Star For Multiple McU Roles

David Morrissey is most known for his fan favorite turn as the Governor in TV’s The Walking Dead, but a new rumor points to him potentially finding a role in another comic book franchise adapted for the screen. The biggest one there is, in fact: the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Insider Roger Wardell, whose information has proved reliable in the past, shared on Twitter the news that Marvel Studios are apparently big fans of the English actor and are looking over multiple roles to find the best one for him in the upcoming Phase Four.

We’ve already got the feeling that at least someone in Marvel’s casting department likes Twd, as two stars of the franchise have shown up in key roles in the franchise. Namely, Danai Gurira as Black Panther‘s Okoye – whose McU commitments have led to her quitting the AMC show after she appears for

The Walking Dead Star Says The Franchise Could Last As Long As Star Trek

The Walking Dead might be about to reach its tenth season this fall, but the franchise shows no signs of ceasing anytime soon. In fact, AMC is keen to expand the brand in new, exciting ways as we not only have that movie trilogy starring Andrew Lincoln but a bunch of spinoffs on the way, too. So, could this mean that Twd will become as much of a mainstay as something as enduring as Star Trek? Well, one star of the series certainly thinks so.

Ross Marquand, who plays Aaron on the post-apocalyptic program, spoke to Heart FM while attending Middle East Film & Comic-Con about where he thinks the franchise will go in the future. Marquand reminded us that Twd and Fear the Walking Dead will soon be joined by a third show coming in 2020, and all this has convinced the actor that it could go on for at least 30 years.

The Walking Dead Fans Are Furious Another Gay Character’s Been Killed Off

In the penultimate episode of The Walking Dead‘s ninth season, 10 survivors were wiped out by the Whisperers in one of the show’s biggest massacres to date. The fifteenth episode,”The Calm Before,” saw Ezekiel’s fair turn sour when Alpha and her cronies kidnapped and murdered numerous Alexandria, Hilltop and Kingdom citizens, including Enid, Henry and Tara.

With no offense intended to the other fallen characters, those three were the ones who were mourned the most by fans following the episode’s airing. However, Tara’s death also got a lot of people riled as it spelled the second removal of a rare gay character on the show this same season. The first time it happened was Jesus (Tom Payne) back in the midseason finale.

You’re probably aware that this is a troubling trope not just in Twd but across the television landscape, with the frustrating trend

Last weekend saw the now annual Walker Stalker Convention come to London. This year the event had a new home at the Excel London, but still gave fans all the same interaction with their favourite stars of The Walking Dead. In addition to autographs, selfies, and professional photo shoots, fans could also attend panels featuring the cast. For those that couldn’t attend, here are some highlights.

All three of the men in Rosita’s life – Eugene (Josh McDermitt), Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) and Siddiq (Avi Nash), were present for a panel. As we know, Rosita is dating Gabriel, is pregnant by Siddiq, and is the woman that Eugene is in love with. When asked who would raise Rosita’s baby, the group all agreed that it should be Eugene. Josh McDermitt said, “I hope Eugene raises this baby because I think he’d be a great father.

‘The Walking Dead’ episode 12 recap: Top 5 moments from ‘Guardians’ include 2 brutal executions
The Walking Dead” Season 9 finally takes us back to Alexandria in Episode 12, and the supposedly diplomatic council is in shambles. Michonne (Danai Gurira) is furious about the radio tower mission that ultimately led to Jesus’ death. But other council members think their head of security wields too much power and want to reconsider the upcoming fair that The Kingdom and Hilltop will soon take part in. Interpersonal drama looks to weaken our survivors just as their new masked adversaries gear up for conflict. Here are the five best moments from “Guardians.”

SEEEmmy spotlight: Can Samantha Morton become the first actor to snag a nomination for ‘The Walking Dead’?

New Walking Dead Photo Teases Jesus’ Burial

The second half of The Walking Dead season 9 will start off with a gloomy atmosphere it seems, as the survivors have to deal with the death of their friend, Jesus (Tom Payne). The Hilltop leader – since Maggie vanished – was murdered by a vicious Whisperer in the midseason finale and the ninth episode of the season will pick right up from that tragic incident when it airs in February.

This new still from the episode showcases the grim job now facing our heroes: burying Jesus’ body. From left to right, the photo features Michonne (Danai Gurira), Magna (Nadia Hilker), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Aaron (Ross Marquand), who leads the horse carrying the corpse. It must be especially tough for him, as season 9 had given the impression that he and Jesus had developed a romance since the 6-year time jump.
